Automation IT Systems Engineer. PE Global requires an Automation IT Systems Engineer for one of our clients in Dublin. This is a permanent position. The Automation IT Systems Engineer will be involved in supporting a highly automated plant- systems used on-site include (but not limited to) Siemens, Allen Bradley, Delta V, Honeywell and OSI Historian etc. Reporting to the Site Automation Lead, As the site is expanding there are great opportunities to get involved in the integrationsupport of new systems. This permanent role is part of core Engineering Team, delivering on projects. We are looking for Engineers with the following experience :- Systems Integration/Interfacing experience on control systems on wider production systems. System Data Flow Design. Programming and scripting experience e.g. Visual Basic or SQL. Some practical database experience, scripting and general familiarity with virtualization technologies and IT Skills is desirable (i.e. including Networks, Active Directory design. Managing systems validation on projects is an advantage. With information technology infrastructure components as they relate to industrial automation systems a plus. Exposure to working with some or all of the above systems. Qualifications. Appropriate Engineering Qualification (BSc. / BE Degree in Engineering, with particular emphasis in Computer science discipline. A number of years of working experience in industry, preferably in a pharmaceutical or relevant GMP manufacturing environment.
