A Technical Writer is required for a South Dublin based Biopharmaceutical company that specialises in secondary manufacturing activities such as Formulation, Fill Finish and Packaging. This role offers you a chance to work in a state of the art facility, within a people centred management structure and with a company that is grounded in the local community including various educational programs aimed at students in second and third level. Excellent opportunity for a Technical Writer to work as part of an engineering team to develop, review and update Change Controls associated with the Technology Transfer of a product. The Technical Writer will: Develop, review and update Change Controls associated with the Technology Transfer of a product to ADL. Develop, review and update tasks and track to closure. Be involved in project meetings as part of coordination of changes that will lead to updates to SOPs and BOM. Be involved in projects as part of continuous process improvement and / or troubleshooting. Liaise with EBR team to troubleshoot and develop new ways of working. Liaise with site training teams to ensure training is on schedule. Assist in developing site procedures as required. Liaise with Quality Assurance to ensure that GMP standards are maintained in line with current SOPs. Liaise with Technical Services regarding documentation changes in an effective and timely manner. Use specified software packages and standard procedures, responsible for compiling and maintaining all relevant documentation including SOPs for submission. Provide technical and clerical support to the engineering team in the preparation of documentation, collation of data and tracking of SOPs. The Technical Writer will require: BSc in a Science or relevant subject. Significant experience, 3 years in Chemistry/Microbiology/Engineering/Validation role gained within a biotech, pharma or health care organisation.
