I currently have an excellent opportunity for a finalist or newly qualified accountant from practice keen to make the move to a financial services company in the IFSC. I will also consider candidates who work in a similar position within another financial services company. RESPONSIBILITIES. •To assist in the planning, organisation and carrying out of the accounting controls and procedures. •Conduct risk assessment of departments in accordance with controls and procedures. •Implement new control polices. •Conduct internal control testing of potential risk areas. •All internal audit duties. •Actively participates in the development of Accounting Control policies. •Develop and implement appropriate procedures to ensure compliance with Group and Finance. •Identify areas of financial control weaknesses and develop best practices. •Review the responses to internal and external audit and make sure all are put in place. •Project work within finance. REQUIREMENTS. •Finalist or newly qualified accountant with a strong audit and accounting controls background. •Work within accountancy practice in an audit senior role or within the internal audit area of a financial services company. •Knowledge of accounting standards – IFRS and Irish and UK GAAP. •Strong accounting and controls experience.
