Our Client is a provider of Managed IT Support Services and Solutions to the SME sector in the greater Dublin region. They provide fully outsourced IT management, cyber security and continual improvement programmes to clients. This growing company was established in 2005 and are nowlooking for a suitably skilled and qualified person to grow with them. In this important role, you will have the chance to challenge yourself, build on your existing expertise and become a key player in the team. The main function of this role is to actively participate as part of a team of IT professionals focusing on the support of their client’s critical systems. You will be required to provide 3rd level/escalation/field support to clients, remotely and on-site. You will manage clients’ infrastructure projects to successful completion, including effectively communicating with the client, internal contacts and third-party suppliers. Pro-actively manage server, storage technologies, virtualization, desktop and general hardware/software support. Lead and perform workstation / server administration, application deployment, and workstation / server maintenance tasks. Full driving licence required. To be considered, you must have: - Field based network engineering experience, including strong exposure to Windows networks. - A Microsoft Certified Professional qualification, such as an MCSA or MCSE. - An excellent working knowledge of MS Exchange Server. - An excellent working knowledge of Sonicwall. - Strong server installation, diagnostic and repair skills. The successful candidate must have excellent client-facing and communication skills, both written and verbal. The ability to effectively solve problems and good time management skills are also key. Good documentation skills would be of benefit. Knowledge of LAN or WAN wireless networking would also be an advantage. Salary €46,000.
