We are currently recruiting a Shopper Marketing Manager to join our team in Dublin on a permanent basis. In Dublin and Antrim (Northern Ireland), we have our Franchise and Operating business and are in the Top 15 Suppliers of Food & Beverages in Ireland. This is an organization with roles in Commercial, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and Logistics. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and leading the shopper marketing strategy across our customers in Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland, increasing the impact of shopper marketing initiatives and ensuring alignment between marketing plans and customer strategies. Delivering best in class initiatives and raising the bar for PepsiCo within the shopper marketing arena in Ireland. You will also lead both design and print agency relationships with an ongoing view about driving productivity and efficiency. . Principal Accountabilities: Translate consumer calendar into optimised commercial calendars by channel, establishing clear KPIs of each initiative by each sales layer and setting execution targets that maximise impact and return. Maximise return on investment from all shopper marketing campaigns working to deliver genuine and sustained PepsiCo growth linked to clear KPIs. Develop customer relationships with appropriate contacts to understand their strategy, activation goals and calendars. Use this understanding to proactively identify opportunities to take advantage of customer events and category opportunities. Create & implement the digital retail strategy through liaising with UK/WESA e-commerce team, and working together with retailer platforms, identifying and enhancing business development opportunities. Understand the shopper and his or her interaction with digital through research and learn to leverage new technologies (apps, promo mechanics, QR code…) in order to drive sales. Define, shape and evolve PepsiCo promotional strategy integrating robust shopper insights through Nielsen, Kantar, Dunnhumby, Talysis tools and specific shopper research. Budget management. Leadership and development of the shopper marketing team with one direct report. Coaching, motivating and close follow up of deliverables and responsibilities. Essential Skills: Highly motivated and experienced operator with FMCG industry experience, with specific verbal and some analytical strengths. Experience in the consumer packaged goods/FMCG industry, with some of this in a people management capacity. Experience in leading a Shopper Marketing agenda - preferably in a multinational FMCG environment. Ability to think broadly and manage complex and competing strategies. Strong written and verbal presentation skills. Has built out an annual shopper marketing strategy for a scale brand/brands and continues to push for best practice and fresh thinking in this area. Comfortable in managing key stakeholders internally and externally (from GM/LT internally to WESA stakeholders/UK BU team/External agency partners. Experience working cross functionally with key department heads (ie Customer Controllers. Comfortable setting department agenda and setting priorities for self and team.
