What you will be doing: You will test the technology that handles billions in payments each year. You'll work on products that thousands of businesses depend on. In short, you'll own a key part of our future… and get to make cool stuff. Responsibilities: You'll carry out both manual and automated tests (50:50. You'll be expected to take the reins on all of the QA fundamentals: Test back-end java applications on RedHat Linux with tomcat connected to a MS SQL server database. Test strategy definition, test case creation, test case execution and verification. Define and execute complex integration test scenarios. Create and maintain automated regression suites. QA of customer functionality and provide QA signoff to production releases. Creating test cases, results analysis, raising bug reports and re-testing all resolved bugs. Our culture is open and honest; you'll need to share your voice and liaise with business (product managers and customer support) and development teams in an agile environment. We're crisp and detail oriented, and we'll need you to chip in to review requirement documentation. We work in a fast-moving agile set-up, so expect to pitch in with other responsibilities from time to time also. What qualities you will bring: Technical Expertise. At least 4 years in QA Automation role. Experience creating / adding to / maintaining test automation frameworks. Experience with BDD, Selenium Webdriver, cucumber & Java for automation. Experience of XML, JSON, Tomcat, Linux and Web Services. Experience with Jenkins or similar. Strong SQL skills. Planning & Delivery. Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills. Self-motivated, high performing and goal oriented. Demonstrates energy, effort and enthusiasm for delivery and results. Worked in Scrum Agile development environment. Quality Orientation. Quality oriented and seeks continuous improvement. Excellent attention to detail and strives to do things right first time. Very fast learner. It also helps if you have: Technical Expertise. Knowledge of transaction processing systems. Work in a continuous delivery environment. Experience testing microservices. Experience with secure development.
