Vacancies exist for Legal Researchers in the House of the Oireachtas, Department of Justice and Equality and Office of the Data Protection Commissioner. Legal Researchers are responsible for carrying out comprehensive research into legal and policy issues. Those appointed will have practical experience in conducting research, strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail along with an ability to prioritise and manage tasks while working to tight deadlines. The successful candidates will also have the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidates will hold a qualification at minimum Level 8 in the National Framework of Qualifications in Law OR a recognised relevant professional legal qualification. A panel will be formed from which further vacancies arising in the Civil Service may be filled.
