Global Insurance Group has a newly created permanent opportunity available for a Financial Analyst to join their team of three. The Financial Analyst will be focused on accounting and financial reporting as well as financial analysis. There will be client facing opportunities and occasional travel within Ireland and to the UK. Key Responsibilities. Monthly review of accounting entries made by the Insurance Manager. Perform monthly reconciliation. Understanding of the business terms and reinsurance protections for each delegated relationship. Review of each delegated authority's quarterly performance. Monitoring and internal reporting of key financial metrics. Financial reporting on the entities writing the delegated authority business including the intercompany quota share and retrocessions. Provide information required by the Insurance Manager for compliance and regulatory purposes. Develop existing accounting and transactional templates to assist the onboarding for new business. Providing clear and concise reports to management on client visits. Desirable Qualifications and Experience. Degree Qualified in Business or related. Ideally qualified accountant or part qualified accountant, with a background in Insurance or Reinsurance Accounting. Experience in the insurance industry or within an MGA.
