My client a large retail company in South Dublin currently have a requirement for an experienced qualified accountant. With this role you will have full responsibility for month end. You will also be involved in the analysis of all finance figures and key finance projects. RESPONSIBILITIES. •Responsibility for month end and all reporting. •Ensuring stock balance is reconciled and journals are recorded. •Support preparation of monthly group reporting for specifically assigned accounts. •Maintain overview of supply related taxes and duties. •Monthly balance sheet reconciliations. •Execute and document process Key Controls for internal compliance monitoring. •Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close process. •Support in preparation for statutory audit and liaise with external auditors throughout audit. •Identify/implement improvements in the month end process which will increase financial controls. •All finance projects – process improvement, financial planning and analysis, implementation etc. REQUIREMENTS. •Top 10 or Big 4 Trained with 1 year or more within an established multi-national – within the retail or similar sector. •Knowledge of stock accounting and commodity exposure. •SAP experience and strong excel. •Involved in Key projects within finance.
