Leading international logistics company now seeks a Sales Support Executive, ideally with of the experience of Irish freight/logistics or Shipping markets knowledge for their North Dublin Branch. Key Duties & Responsibilities: As a Sales Support Executive you will be responsible for assisting in the selling of our portfolio to customers. Working closely with Sales Management you will help deliver sales budgets, targets and KPI’s for defined customer accounts. You will assist in ensuring that rate negotiations are completed and advised to all relevant parties as soon as agreement has been reached and confirmed by the customer. Ensuring that rate requests are processed within a timely manner according to customer requirements and our pricing guidelines, in order to secure maximum business, revenue, and profit. Whilst delivering the best service to the customer. Communicating quickly and efficiently with our Clients, you will make sound business and economic evaluations of the client’s requirements. Identifying solutions for process improvement and ensuring the Customer Relationship Management tools (Salesforce.com and others) are updated on time and of excellent quality. Working with Sales Management, you will take an active role in the coordination of customer tender documents in conjunction with the relevant parties & in accordance with tender procedures. You will accompany Busines Development Managers on client visits when required. Providing input and support to ensure both the customer and company’s objectives are achieved. Through effective relationship building and developing a good understanding of your customer’s value drivers, you will maximise sales through effective probing and lead qualification. Applying a consultative sales approach you will distinguish market presence, by identifying customer needs and suggesting solutions to help. Desired Skills and Experience: Ideally, an understanding of supply chain solutions and technology to enable best process to be delivered for the customer. Highly proficient in both Excel and Powerpoint packages. Experience in a multinational company Sales environment. Proven customer focus. Strong analytical skills with exceptional eye for detail. Dynamic individual with excellent interpersonal skills and high levels of self-motivation. With the ability to handle multiple tasks in a constantly changing environment, you will be able to work under time restrictions with a sense of urgency to deliver to a high standard. Anticipating and problem solving, you will have strong analytical skills. Resolving problems with effective solutions, you will be able to eliminate roadblocks and maintain focus. As a result orientated individual, you will continuously strive to achieve results and deliver excellence customer experience. With the ability to listen, understand and influence, you will be someone who can build appropriate rapport. As an excellent communicator, you will have the ability to build trusted relationships both within the company and the customer’s organisation. You will thrive in an environment of many different stakeholders and enjoy working across boundaries and with other teams to ensure that sales strategy is achieved. Terms: Permanent, Full-time.
