My client a multi-national FMCG company based in Dublin 15 currently have a requirement for a qualified accountant with a strong costing, financial analysis and business partnering background. RESPONSIBILITIES. •Cost Accounting & Reporting both internally and to divisional HQ. •SAP Costing Subject Matter. •Budgeting & Forecasting responsibility for the plant. •Ensuring compliance with internal controls. •Act as Finance Business Partner to the Dublin Site. •Working closely with other departments to develop and support new cost reduction. •Responsibility for Sales, Product Costing & Inventory Management. •Develop thorough understanding of production cost base. •Co-ordinate regular warehouse stocktakes & ensure stocks accurately reflected in the accounts. •Calculation and analysis of monthly product costs & variances. •Calculation and analysis of all stock values on site including review of NRV and other stock provisioning as required. •Monthly reporting of sales, cost of sales, stocks for external and internal report requirements. •Maintenance of appropriate general ledger accounts. •Overhead reporting and variance analysis. •Maintenance of all costing issues within SAP. •Ad hoc product costing reports and analysis as required. •Responsibility for relevant monthly and quarterly CSO, Revenue and Customs returns. •Preparation of sales, product costs, stocks information and conversion costs for inclusion in 5 year strategic plan, annual budget and interim forecasts. RESPONSIBILIITES. •Qualified Accountant with 3+ years pqe- Must have worked within FMCG, Pharma, Retail, Manufacturing or similar industry’s – must be multi-nationals. •Have Business Partnering, Financial Analysis, budgeting and forecasting and some costing experience – the costing experience is a KEY requirement. •Detailed knowledge of SAP, including FI/CO, SD and MM modules.
