Project Quantity Surveyor. Dublin. Euro Executive Recruitment has been retained by a client to recruit for the role ofProject Quantity Surveyor to cover their Dublin based projects. The Client. Our client has over 90 years of experience as one of Irelands leading general building and civil engineering contractors – having successfully completed hundreds of prestigious contracts in both the public and private sectors during the course of their history. The Role: The Project Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for the commercial and contractual performance of construction projects in the Dublin region. The role will look after post tender and pre-contract activities and assist with identifying and preparing commercial targets for the projects. Looking after the sourcing and appointment of subcontractors, attending planning meetings, documentation and schedules, dealing with applications, variation schedules, measurement, accounting and payments schedules and all contractual correspondence through to final accounts. The PQS will also finalise subcontractor accounts and complete all filing and other documentation as required post contract. Requirements: ThirdLevel Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics or Civil Engineering. 3 to 5+ years post qualification experience. Strong operational skills and an attention to detail. Ideally you will have background exposure on projects in the commercial, pharmaceutical, educational, healthcare, residential or industrial sectors. Excellent client facing and presentation skills. Excellent verbal andwritten communication skills will prove essential to your success in this role.
