Student Recruitment Officer / School Liaison Officer based with an Educational Body based in Dublin City Centre. Must have full driving license and own car. Salary: 50/55K depending on level of experience Responsibilities The specific responsibilities of the Student Recruitment Officer/ School Liaison Officer will include the following:¿ Develop and implement a comprehensive annual undergraduate recruitment plan to maximise student recruitment for Undergraduate Domestic Full Time Students and achieve recruitment revenue targets for this area. This will include CAO students and internal and external transfer students¿ Identifying areas of development for student recruitment from schools and further education colleges for all programmes¿ Develop and implement an effective School Liaison strategy to promote companies CAO programmes in Schools, Colleges of Further Education and any other relevant institutions.¿ Undertake a range of activities to promote company to a variety of audiences including secondary school students, mature students, school guidance counsellors, school teachers and principals, parents and the media¿ Monitor, evaluate and respond to trends, developments, threats and opportunities while actively increasing conversion rates¿ Prepare and deliver a variety of presentations to Schools and other Colleges outlining the programmes available and other relevant student information while engaging with the guidance counsellors to ensure relevance of content and arranging suitable dates and times for school visits¿ In conjunction with the Admissions Manager, be responsible for the admissions and administration process for all programmes in their remit ensuring the integrity and suitability of the student recruitment process¿ Building positive relationships with the key market contact groups of students, parents, guidance counsellors, CAO and attend open events/exhibitions/fairs/schools/CAO conferences etc. representing the company as part of the student recruitment process¿ Maintain up to date knowledge of key existing and new products and services to enable achievement of business objectives and react to market requirements, review competitive activity¿ Working with the Marketing Manager in developing the marketing strategy for Undergraduate Full Time programmes (to include website, mailings, open events, external events , profile building, campaigns, social media, sponsorship etc.)¿ Due to the nature of the work flexibility of working hours is required (some weekends and evenings) for Open Events, Registrations, School events, IGC conferences etc. and applicants should note that holidays may not be taken during the peak recruitment period¿ Follow up on all leads and application statuses by phone/email as per company processes¿ Ensuring all relevant admissions emails/letters/phone calls regarding enquiries/applications from students are dealt with efficiently and effectively as per the admission process 3¿ Any additional administrative and marketing tasks as delegated by management and other project-based and ad-hoc activities, as indicated by the overall student recruitment strategy Working Relationships The management of successful working relationships will be an integral aspect of the role. This will include: ¿ CAO staff and personnel¿ Career Guidance Counsellors, Principals and other school representatives¿ Academic Staff and Operations The Student Recruitment Officer/ School Liaison Officer will report directly to the Director of Marketing and Admissions and will have a high level of day-to-day autonomy in discharging his/her responsibilities. He/she will present and review marketing plans and performance reports with the Manager on a regular basis.
