An Expanding Service company is seeking a Buyer with fluent Spanish for their offices in Dublin. Due to a growing in their Buying team they are looking for a diligent and focused individual with previous negotiation experience to assist in managing and maintaining core processes for our Purchasing department daily. Exposure to international vendors is needed and this person will report to the Purchasing Team Lead. Main Responsibilities. Daily placement of Purchase Orders against our worldwide list of suppliers. Negotiate with suppliers on pricing and favorable Terms and Conditions. Carry out contract reviews / renewals on an ongoing basis. Work on continuous improvement programs with suppliers regarding reduction in lead time, shipping issues etc. Establish and maintain excellent relationships with suppliers to ensure quick turnaround of stock. Liaise daily with Customer Service, Fulfillment, Finance & Product Teams, resolving enquiries within a timely manner that are relating to the supplier. Review daily inventory Re-order Point levels to ensure zero stock outs. Improve internal and external purchasing procedures and purchasing turnaround times. Solve supplier related issues and audit vendor information. Assisting the Purchasing Manager in all aspects of Purchasing and Operations / Logistics. Lead supplier business reviews and drive closure of actions within an appropriate timeframe. Required skills, knowledge and experience. Strong track record in negotiating with global suppliers. IIPMM qualification. Business background with min 4 years Purchasing experience. Excellent knowledge and use of Excel, Word, Outlook etc. Experience with ERP systems desirable. Experience with customer/vendor processes, escalations, and resolution. Essential requirements. Be ambitious and willing to work in a fast paced environment. Strong determination, resilience, and ability to influence. Be a team player. Be confident and have excellent communication skills. Have excellent attention to detail.
