We are currently seeking for an Experienced Accommodation Manager- Superb 4 * property! Duties and Responsibilities: To ensure appropriate quality standards are adhered to at all times and reviewed regularly, taking into account changing guest requirements within the rooms division. To oversee the smooth and efficient running of all areas within your responsibilities. To achieve budgeted sales, average room rate and occupancy levels. To control wages and expenses in line with the budget. To forecast room sales and wages weekly, monthly and quarterly. To assist in the preparation of the annual budget. To ensure appropriate levels of customer care are delivered at all times. To maximise on all sales opportunities and to promote a selling environment with the rooms area of the hotel, ensuring sales targets are met. To liase with external contractors/suppliers ensuring that product/service are at the agreed standard. To assist in the implementation of a quality system within the hotel. To be fully familiar with the front office system. To implement and monitor a maintenance programme. To adhere to all Human Resource Management procedures with regard to interviewing, disciplining, recruitment and appraising of team members. To promote good team relations, ensuring fairness and consistency in all dealings with team members. To develop and implement quarterly activity plans appropriate to the business needs in all areas of responsibility. To be aware of relevant competitor information and market changes to our services where appropriate. To assist in compiling weekly, monthly and annual reports as requested by the Resident Manager or General Manager. To ensure we have a highly motivated team and problems within the rooms division are resolved immediately. To plan, implement and carry out training. To ensure the smooth running of the hotel through effective duty management. To carry out any reasonable request from the senior management team. Experience/Education: Previous experience ( min . 2 years) in a 4 star property is essential. Good communication skills and must be a natural leader.
