Our client, Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals is launching a new medical deivce R&D department in Dublin. The work they will be doing is new to our shores which makes this an interesting project to pursue. We are looking for experienced medical device Electrical Engineers. In this role you will be the electrical technical lead. Requirments: Strong background in life sciences, bioengineering, medical device development. Experience in in the development of complex, electircal, mechanical software driven devices. Knowledge of medical device regulations including FDA GMP, design controls, ISO13485. Experience working with devices throughout the full R&D process. BS in engineering with 10+ years of applicable industry experience is required. MS/MBA or advanced degree a plus. The role: Carry out or direct the development of complex/novel embedded electronics assignments. Responsible for the proper application of technologies, process and convergent product offerings that ensure the highest quality most reliable, innovative products on the market. This indivdual will be looked upon as the expert for the R&D group with respect to all Electricall Engineering activites and be a mentor to the other engineers in the organization.
