TAX SPECIALIST – MULTINATIONAL. Our client a leading Multinational is looking for a Tax Specialist based in Dublin for an initial 6 month contract. What You Need To Have: Professional accountancy qualification – ACA/ACCA/CPA. Professional Tax qualification or working towards this, e.g. AITA. Exposure to UK/Irish & US GAAP and previous experience with SAP an advantage. Statutory accounts preparation experience. Proficient in Excel. Your Day: Involved in the preparation of statutory financials for acquired entities. Create standardised process through working on existing and upcoming acquisitions. Preparation of the Tax provision calculation for US GAAP and local GAAP requirements. Reconciliation of statutory financial statements to US GAAP opening balance sheet and affiliateaccounting for acquired entities. Preparation of the year-end tax packages for submission to the Global tax group. Preparation of monthly Tax balance sheet reconciliations. Liaise with area Tax Director and Global tax Group on UK & Irish V&A matters. Review of the Tax forecast on a quarterly basis and update for any required amendments. Perform internal controls in compliance with Sarbanes Oxley/UK directorship controls. Ability to multi-task and provide cross team support as required. Participate in continuous quality improvement projects. Preparation of accounting and tax treatment memorandums. Provide reporting to management on issues, statistics, metrics and projects.
