Leading international FMCG manufacturer and distributor now seek to hire an Interim Logistics Manager (12-18 Months) to undertake a cost reduction and network efficiencies project within the Irish manufacturing and distribution sites. Working from their South Dublin facility and reporting to the Director of Logistics, you will review inventory, warehousing and distribution operations to identify cost reduction and network efficiencies along with developing and implementing the plans required to achieve these objectives. Minimum Requirements: Extensive logistics experience within an FMCG environment. Strong project management knowledge. Six Sigma/Lean qualified. Determination and resilience to make decisions. Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines. An ability to work cooperatively and in collaboration with other stakeholders, partners, customers and colleagues. Excellent problem solving ability is a must. A strong commercial acumen and an ability to establish a rapport with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Good understanding of financials and the impact of fixed and variable costs. Strong PC skills using MS Office, MS Project etc. Terms: Full time - contract (12-18 months. Package: €70-80k.
