Senior Financial Accountant | Permanent | Dublin City | Generous Salary & Benefits. A leading International asset management company is looking a Senior Financial Accountant to join their company. You will be reporting into the Financial Controller. Day to Day Duties. Income Streams - Monitoring of all Income Streams. Review of Production of Monthly Rebate calculation. Review of Preparation of Quarterly Rebate Communications. Preparation of monthly Management Accounts. Group Reporting - Preparation of Intercompany Balances & Reporting Pack. Group Reporting- Review of Cash Flow & Headcount Reports. Review of Processing of weekly Payment Runs for the Financial Controller. Review of the Maintenance of Fixed Assets Register and Depreciation charge. Maintenance of Rebate Asset Register, Amortisation and impact of Redemptions. Revenue Commissioners - Completion/Submission of VAT3, DWT & P30. Central Bank - Preparation of Monthly and Quarterly Regulatory Returns. Review of Central Statistics Office Returns. Audit - Satisfying all audit requests for Year-End and Semi-Annual Reviews. Management Reporting - P&L Comparatives/Budget Analysis/Preparation of BOD P&L File. Staff supervision - Manage and assist with the coaching & development of team members. Liaise with the relevant Payroll Bureau in order to facilitate the accurate and timely production of the monthly payroll, whilst maintaining the strictest of confidentiality. Preparation of Monthly Pension & VHI Reconciliations. Budget - Assist the Financial Controller with the preparation of the Annual Budget. Fund Audits Process - Assist with the co-ordination of the audit and preparation (by the Administrator) of the Annual and Semi-Annual Financial Statements of the relevant Funds. Drafting of the Annual and Semi-Annual Financial Statements of the Company. Ideal Candidate Profile. Third level qualification in Accounting & Finance (or related business degree. Recently Qualified/Qualified Accountant. Have a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience. Knowledge within the Financial Services Industry is an advantage but not a prerequisite. Technically proficient in the fundamentals of accountancy. Experience of using an accounts package (in particular Microsoft Dynamic NAV. Fluency in English (written and spoken) is strictly necessary.
