Accounting Analyst |30-40k | Dublin City. New and exciting role with key accounting initiatives and implementations for junior accounts receivable or billing specialist looking to move into accounting analyst position. The Accounting Analyst will work closely with the product and accounting teams to monitor and implement daily cash matching processes. This position would be suitable if you have 2 years’ experience in accounts receivable, billing, credit control or cash applications position, with a degree in accountancy or business and excellent systems and excel skills. You will be provided with a competitive salary and a range of great benefits, working from Dublin City Centre location. Key areas you will be working on: You will be involved with researching and resolving exceptions between the credit card processor, accounting system, and bank statements; managing and organising large amounts of data to isolate and solve problems and then initiate journal entries and correspondence necessary to resolve issues. You will implement and improve global cash matching processes as they expand across new products and revenue streams and, analyze and identify trends in order to initiate productive change. You will be reporting to the Payments and Projects Manager and working closely with global revenue accountants, product developers, and payment processors to establish and maintain processes. You will be required to assist on special projects as assigned from time to time including technical accounting research and new business initiatives . What you will bring to the position: Along with your ability to work well within a team you will be required to build independent and respected relationships with cross functionally with all levels of management and across geographies. You will have the ambition to in work and develop within a high-performance team. You will require strong organisational skills. This position is suitable for accounting graduates who have 1-2 years’ experience in accounting (corporate/public) with advanced excel skills. If you are a licensed Chartered Accountancy (CPA) or actively pursuing Chartered Accountancy (CPA) certification this is a plus and you will be encouraged to continue to enhance your accounting abilities. Previous experience with Oracle and e-commerce transactions will also help show you as a top candidate for this position.
