Accounts Payable | Innovative IT MNC | 28-32k. Innovative IT provider in cyber security firm searching for a junior account payable to join accountancy their team in an open and friendly environment. This is a permanent position with an immediate start in Dublin 4 location. The successful candidate will require 1 - 3 years’ experience in an accounts payable specialist position or finance role in a similar multinational industry. Benefits - 8% bonus, healthcare, pension. Main duties you will perform: Responsible the full process of matching, verifying and entering supplier invoices in the system; handling employee expense claims; ensuring costs are coded correctly in each entity, and entering intercompany journals where necessary. Following up on outstanding expense claims and receipts and escalating any non-compliance with company policy. As an Accounts Payable, you will be maintaining the Accounts Payable sub-ledger and responsible for all payments of supplier invoices and employee cash expense claims and resolution of supplier and employee queries relating to invoices and expense claims. You will be assisting staff accountants in preparation of monthly management accounts e.g. preparation of vendor accruals. Reconciliation of vendors and approval of purchase requisitions. You may also participate in special projects such as process improvements and implementation, and integrating accounting for acquired entities. Experience you will require: For this position, you must have 1-2years accounts payable experience from a multinational environment or similar industry, with a business or accountancy degree and proficiency in MS Office Suite. Good systems skills in accounting software such as Sun Systems will be an advantage and a capability of meeting strict deadlines for monthly, quarterly and year end reporting. You should have knowledge and understanding of basic accounting principles and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
