Procurement Administrator/Warehouse Operative - Pharmaceutical. Location: Dublin North Salary: €30-35k Purpose of Role: In this diverse role, you’ll be an integral part of the Logistics team predominately working in our warehouse as well as providing procurement administrative support. This role is based in our North Dublin warehouse. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Working in a team environment, the person will plan, organize and prioritise daily tasks. Carry out material handling activities ensuring safe transportation and storage of product at all times in line with good distribution practices (GDP. Loading and unloading materials from Cardiac Services and 3rd party vehicles. Receiving, storing, picking, packing and shipping inventory orders. Accurately record all inventory transactions using inventory management systems including the use of hand held devices. Carry out physical inspection and elementary functional testing of materials and equipment in compliance with company procedures and practices. Housekeeping duties, maintenance and inspection of the warehouse, associated areas and material handling equipment ensuring a safe working environment. Pro-actively identify, highlight and address potential issues or hazards - Health & Safety. Liaise with customers, suppliers and Cardiac Services staff members to answer and resolve queries in a friendly, polite and professional manner. Verify inventory management system records by planning and completing cycle counts. Proactively identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives via structured problem solving. Regular data reporting and analysis supporting operational performance measurement and improvement of Logistics processes. Procurement Support: Develop and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers. Creation and issuing of purchase orders to suppliers using Material Planning system. Monitor and update purchase orders with latest supplier information. Create and maintain SKU data in the inventory management system. Address with suppliers, any discrepancies between product deliveries and purchase orders. Coordinate with suppliers, couriers and freight forwarders to ensure the most efficient and cost effective freight service. Complete periodic reviews of stock levels and forecasted stock requirements based on the ever-changing needs of the business. Role Requirements: Two years’experience in a modern warehousing environment is desirable, preferably in healthcare. Current counterbalance forklift drivers licence.
