What you need to know. You will work as an Insurance Billing Administrator within the Finance team for our client, in Dublin. This is a contract job until 31st March 2018. Your new job. Key duties & responsibilities: The billing team look after verification of invoices, rebilling to pharmacies, card payments, invoicing, late payment and late payment charges calculations. Ensure that inpatient and day case billing is completed for all insured and under-insured patients. Provision of theatre costing for billable consumables. Application of payments to patient accounts. Interface with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate billing. Provide training in billing procedures to hospital staff as required. Assist in undertaking continuous improvement projects. Ensure all work is completed accurately and timely. What are we looking for? Desirable: 3rdLevel Qualification. Numerate, tenacious, attention to detail and ability to learn quickly. Experience in an accounts department, or previous claims processing or working in a high-volume payment collection/application role strongly preferred. Strong working knowledge of computer programs, especially MS Excel (Pivots/lookups) and enterprise applications. An understanding of the order to cash process. Discretion and ability to use initiative. Comfortable working in a fast-paced organisation with regular deadlines, i.e. fortnightly/monthly.
