In your role as a Global Procurement Executive you will manage a range of tradeable commodities for this amazing company. Your goals will be to: - Develop a Global Category strategy by driving current processes yet improving the category strategy processes. Work across multiple regions & with key stakeholders globally. Financial planning, reporting, & risk management; Achieve significant negotiated savings & annual cost reductions but maintaining & improving product quality & supplier service levels; Support overall program & lead Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) process for selected categories; Achieve cash flow improvement targets whilst budgeting & forecasting for the category; Supporting top line growth via Innovation, Design to Value initiatives, & delivery of unique & sensitive raw materials; Develop & executing business continuity plans; locating, & implementing diverse suppliers; Supporting responsible sourcing initiatives; Develop effective cost reduction strategies & regional implementation plans; Implement best practices within categories to drive maximum value; Negotiate tolling agreements across supply base for manufacturing; conversions using best in class tools such as clean sheeting & robust strategic sourcing methods; Negotiate commodities with supply base maximizing value. You will need: - Masters or Degree with circa 8 plus years in procurement or commodity trading. Be used to working at a very senior level within previous global blue chip company. Experience with a fast moving FMCG company would be excellent. Experience with cocoa; chocolate; coffee; grain; oil; sugar; additives or flavourings etc. Commodity Trading Background. Knowledge of SAP or Oracle. Hands on experience in an agricultural related field and happy to travel for 20% of the time. You can come from anywhere in the world but need to be able to travel easily within Europe without need for a Visa and at short notice.
