PE Global are currently recruiting for a Learning & Performance Specialist for a client site in South Dublin - Under limited supervision, supports training programs that meet the specific learning and performance needs of assigned clients. Provides guidance to clients on compliance and regulatory issues. Coaches and develops Subject Matter Experts/certified trainers within client area to be effective trainers. Accomplishes results through own work and by influencing clients, staff members, and management. The site is focused on continuous improvement of all work processes and practices and all colleagues are required to be flexible in this regard. This means that they may be asked to carry out additional tasks that are related to the functions described below. KeyResponsibilities: Works closely with assigned clients in their work environment to analyse learning and performance issues and identify solutions that support business needs. Communicates client training needs to local training management. Works with clients to manage their curricula and assignments and ensure all training materials are integrated with the Learning Management System per defined business processes. Oversees effective delivery of cGMP and other regulatory training, as required by client group. Facilitates the assignment and un-assignment of assignment vehicles and learning activities for staff members in the Learning Management System. Provides guidance to client on compliance and regulatory issues. Participates and /or leads inspections activities. Coaches and develops Subject Matter Experts (SMEs)/ certified trainers within client area to be effective trainers. Assists in review of human error-related incidents and determines need for additional or modified training interventions for affected staff. May facilitate transition of new hires/transfer-ins from training environment to work environment. May provide input into the implementation of corporate core curricula and standard learning processes. May participate on global learning and performance teams as assigned. May include small scale instructional design projects to meet local client needs. Supports the project management and implementation of global learning and performance initiatives within their client groups. Requirements: Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree & 2 years of directly related experience or Associate’s degree & 4 years of directly related experience. Strong customer service orientation and influencing skills to work directly with client staff and identifying performance needs. Strong technical writing and communication skills. Working knowledge on computer software programs including: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Works directly with client, SMEs, certified trainers, and/or vendors in delivering training. Training may involve the handling potentially hazardous materials and/or equipment. Demonstrates understanding of business and culture, and ability to work effectively with staff at all levels. Skilled in process modelling and troubleshooting. Basic project management skills. Good interpersonal, group facilitation and presentation skills. Able to accomplish results through own work and by influencing client groups, staff members, and management.
