Dublin based Pharmaceutical company now hiring for Logistic Operators. Summary: Working as part of the Planning & Logistics team the Logistics Operator will report directly to the Production Group Leader. The role will carry responsibility for supporting production requirements across all business units with respect to the management and coordination of raw materials, finished products and supporting documentation in line with documentation procedures. Requirements: Must have excellent Housekeeping and EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) standards and a high attention to detail. Must have a minimum of 1-2 year’s previous experience of working in warehousing within a high volume manufacturing environment. Must understand the principles of JIT manufacturing, stock turns, inventory control, FIFO (First In First Out), ERP (Enterprise Requirements Planning) requirements and general warehousing duties within a manufacturing environment. Must be able to work on own initiative as well as in teams and be able to prioritize and organize tasks. Must possess good communication skills both oral and written and be able to liaise with staff at all levels within the company. Must possess a strong level of computer literacy with the capability to promptly identify and resolve system issues to maintain ERP integrity. Must understand and follow TGE Standard Operating Procedures in accordance with cGMP and company policy/customer requirements at all times. Must be able to promptly identify and resolve Material and Warehouse issues to maintain and improve company standards. Must have a current forklift license and a strong level of proficiency in the operation of the company forklifts and electric powered pallet trucks. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Work effectively with the PGL’s to support production requirements across all Business Units. Responsible for operating ‘counterbalance’ and ‘bendi’ forklifts in addition to the electric pallet truck in line with safety requirements. Assist the Warehouse manager with receiving, inspecting and locating of raw materials, tools, gauges and equipment in line with documented procedures. Responsible for completion, filing and maintenance of all relevant documentation. Assist the Warehouse manager with the control and issue of raw materials to production in line with requirements ensuring that all stock is used on ‘First In First Out’ (FIFO) basis. Assist with the preparation and identification of finished goods for shipment/transfer to TGE logistics partner in line with TGE and customer requirements. Responsible for preparation of delivery documentation (packing list, pallet labels etc), and shipment loading. • Assist the Warehouse Manager with cycle counts of raw materials and finished goods inventory as required. Responsible for constantly maintaining EH&S and housekeeping to the highest standards in all areas designated as the responsibility of the Warehouse in accordance with cGMP and company policy/customer requirements. Responsible for maintaining the ERP system integrity by ensuring transaction accuracy and issuing agreed reports to the Warehouse Manager / PGL on each shift. Responsible for ensuring the correct material is being used in the correct location/work centre for every shift and fix/report discrepancies where applicable. Responsible for the seamless hand over of all related reports and information to the relevant Production Group Leader/Warehouse Manager and to colleagues working on opposite shifts. Responsible for ensuring correct material balances are returned to the warehouse at all times with accurate reporting through TGE procedures, and driving prompt resolution of discrepancies. Responsible for ensuring correct segregation and clear identification of all waste materials. This includes ensuring that each unit containing regrind is clearly identified and the weigh recorded in accordance with TGE procedures & policies and reporting breaches where evident. Compliance to all site Environmental, Health and Safety requirements, training and regulations. Compliance to all local site company policies, procedures and corporate policies.
