As an Application Support Analyst, you will be tasked with providing application support to customers using our client’s fresh produce ERP system. Specifically, you will investigate and resolve issues that are reported through the support portal, manage the incoming case queue to ensure SLAs are met and diagnose, analyse and reproduce issues to understand their root cause. You will report to the Application Support Manager and work as part of a team providing guidance and technical expertise to customers and implementation teams. Additionally, your role will include: - Providing application support during deployment projects. - Prioritising and escalating customer issues as required. - Updating customers on the status of their issues verbally or via clear, succinct written communications. - Working alongside the Development, Training and Testing Teams regarding issues and resolutions. As part of your role, you will participate in a 24/7 support rota. So, is this the role for you? If so, you will need: - At least two years’ hands-on experience in a support and/or service role dealing directly with customers. - Strong knowledge of SQL. - Experience with other programming languages, ideally VB.NET. - A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle. Enthusiastic, resilient and naturally inquisitive, as an Application Support Analyst, you’ll be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. A close attention to detail, team player mentality and excellent communication skills are all key. Knowledge of ERP systems and warehousing software systems such as Navision, SAP or RPO would be advantageous. This will ideally have been gained in an application support role, but users, implementers and trainers will also be welcome.
