My client are a global leader in data flow governance and are seeking an Automation Test Architect who specialises in automation and design of test automation frameworks for microservices. You will architect the testing framework for their next generation SaaS platform and lead engineers across multiple teams on best practice for developing automated test cases for same. The role sits in the company's autonomous R+D centre in Dublin city centre - their setup is unique in offering the freedom and flexibility of a startup with the stability of a public, profitable and growing company behind it. They provide a creative and flexible working environment where people are empowered to make a difference. This position reports to Head of Quality but works across all delivery teams. Skills & Experience. 7+ years commercial software development and automation experience including test framework design and development. Proficiency in multiple programming languages including Java. Excellent working knowledge of containers, orchestration tools and Cloud platforms. Understanding and experience with web related technologies and of network/web related protocols. Obsession with new technologies and open source tools. Experience designing, developing and testing SaaS solutions. Experience designing, developing and continuously delivering micro services. Proven ability to quickly present technical solutions to business problems and provide gut estimates and risks.
