As an Education Administrator, you will be tasked with providing a professional and comprehensive administrative service to support activities within our client’s Education Department. Working alongside Module Co-ordinators, Programme Directors, Academic Support Staff, Lecturers, Colleagues and External Stakeholders, you will undertake an interesting and stimulating workload. You’ll support the examination and assessment process, act as the point of contact for the examination software provider and support Examiners with the preparation of papers. Ensuring Authors adhere to course material submission dates, you’ll proof course material and finalise it for print prior to the start of the academic year. Additionally, your role will involve: - Liaising with academic colleagues to ensure regulations are followed. - Resolving or progressing issues and queries relating to exam administration. - Reporting, extracting and analysing examination data. - Assisting in the recruitment, selection, training and scheduling of exam invigilators. So, is this the role for you? If so, you will need: - A proven track record in administration including strong IT skills (word processing, spreadsheets, email, PowerPoint and Excel) and demonstrable competency in the use and development of a wide variety of business systems. - Excellent proofreading skills. - The demonstrated ability to contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of administrative processes. - A third-level or professional qualification. Flexible and effective, as an Education Administrator, you’ll need to be comfortable working as part of a team and will possess excellent written communication and interpersonal skills. Well organised and able to co-ordinate tasks, you will also need plenty of initiative in order to be successful. Project experience would be beneficial to your application.
