The Role. Develop new business. Identify and gain key construction, fit out and development opportunities. Take on the role as a QS/Snr Estimator for new business. Achieve targets and Key performance Indicators. Initiate, develop and lead business development. Identify negotiation and tender opportunities. Strengthen the company brand. Co-ordinate pre-qualification, tender and bid submission. Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants and sub-contractors. Plan, prepare and deliver presentations. Responsibility for all budgetary decisions. The Person. 3 rd level qualification. A proven track record in the construction industry. Previous experience as an Estimator/QS essential. Strong business development experience. Can do attitude. Understanding of key drivers and disciplines within a start-up business. 5 years’ experience working with a main contractor.
