Description

The Service Delivery Manager is responsible for airside catering operations, the management of the entire company fleet operating both airside and landside, the Dish-Room and equipment areas and managing relationships with airline clients and the directly reporting staff within the Transport, Dispatch and Dish-room teams. Accountabilities. • Manpower Planning - Ensure efficient rosters are in place to service all internal and client requirements across all shifts and during peak and off peak periods and optimize hours control. • Customer Service - Develop, maintain and improve service level agreements with airline clients to ensure efficient, safe and correct loading and unloading of all relevant inflight catering products. • Punctuality - create and implement strict off-dock and off-aircraft schedules to ensure zero preventable delays to customer aircraft departures. • Galley Loading - Manage all processes relating to the loading and unloading of inflight catering or buy-on-board products including; Aviation Security compliance, dispatch consignment checks, galley loading, aircraft strip on arrival and off-load at Catering Unit. • General / Ramp Safety – Ensure full staff training is in place and up to date and directly manage all operations in accordance with documented Health and Safety procedures. • Customer Relations - Maintain relationships with airline clients on a consistent basis and resolve any relevant escalations, ad-hoc requirements or passenger / crew complaints. • Fleet planning – Coordinate and ensure optimum use of all company vehicles, including High loaders, Vans and any other vehicle utilised. • Fleet Maintenance - Ensure all company vehicles are fully maintained through regular servicing and that all legal & compliance requirements for the fleet including registration and insurance details are up to date. • Dish-Room – Establish Lean process flows within the Wash area, optimizing use of space and machinery and ensuring compliance with internal quality measures. • Equipment – Develop internal procedures and integrated service levels with production departments to deliver airline equipment according to volume and schedule requirements. • Inventory Control – Manage and monitor airline equipment levels so as to support efficient Unit operations and space allocation. • Staff Engagement - Define and communicate team objectives, train, encourage, empower and support independent and creative thinking to strengthen the team based effort. • Recruitment – Take responsibility for the recruitment of staff within own departments, and the development of training and succession planning for the teams. • HQ - Supports dnata group operations for local and international projects. Qualifications/ skills/ experience / knowledge. • Bachelor Degree in a relevant field (12+3 or equivalent. • 10 years operations experience in aviation or logistics industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a management position.
