HEAD CHEF MON-FRI DUBLIN 7.00-4.30PM CITY-CONTRACT CATERING €38,000. Our client, a specialist in the contract catering market, are a progressive and caring employer who excel is fresh, innovate dining for clients and staff. Working Monday to Friday (although flexibility will be required for functions and events) , as a Head Chef you will be responsible for the operations of the kitchen and reporting to the Catering Manager. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for providing Breakfast and Lunch as well as food for extensive internal hospitality. This is a large blue chip client contract with up to 900 on site, so the client is looking for a chef with experience running high volume, kitchens. We are seeking a Head Chef with proven experience in Up Market Dining/Brasserie/Bistro with a high turnover. Experience at 4*/5* Hotel Level or Guide Listed Restaurants of High Achievement is required. Minimum of 5 Years as Sous or 2 years as Head Chef is required for thus role. This role is leading a small kitchen as well as been hands on. Duties. " Overseeing the catering function which produces high class cuisine for staff & hospitality events. " Making sure the fresh food produced on site is delivered to the agreed high standard. " Is creative with Menus Ideas/Planning and is a real 'FOODIE' at heart. " Outgoing ,strong but firm, " Calm under pressure. " Deal with problems quickly. " use own initiative. " Be hands on and lead by example. " Strong on portion control, wastage, purchasing.
