We have an excellent opportunity to join a very reputable firm within the field of medical devices. You will be working out of their warehouse in North Co Dublin. Within this role, you will work 70% of the time within the warehouse and the other 30% of the time will be working within logistics and planning. There is a definitive opportunity for your career to grow and develop quickly with this position! You will be an integral part of the logistics team where you will provide procurement administration support. You will have to be a team player with excellent communication skills as you will be working across logistics and warehouse, customers and suppliers. You should also be an organised person as you will have to prioritise and plan your work. As part of your warehouse duties, you will be working to good distribution practices ensuring safe transportation and storage of products, loading and unloading materials, receiving, picking and packing. There are hand held materials management devices in use here for inventory management. Continuous improvement is the culture in the warehouse and you will proactively identify and highlight potential issues or hazards and drive initiatives for problem solving. You will also be involved in regular data reporting and analysis. On the logistics and procurement side, you will be developing strong working relationships with suppliers, creating POs, monitoring and updating those POs as required. You will also e tasked with creating and maintaining SKU data within the inventory management system. It will be your responsibility to communicate and work with suppliers on any discrepancies. You will also complete stock checks and forecast stock requirements based on the needs of the business. To be successful in this role, we are seeking a person who knows and understands the workings of a modern warehouse and stock management system. You will also have excellent computer skills, experience with warehouse management systems, attention to detail and the ability to problem solve. You will also be a self-motivated person with a 'can do' approach, a strong work ethic and willingness to learn and assume new responsibilities. To consider this role, you must have strong MS Excel skills, a current Counterbalance licence, strong IT skills, including management reporting and experience working successfully to tight deadlines.
