Our Client a leading Freight and Logistics Company now require an experienced Air Freight Forwarder for their Dublin depot. Working as part of a busy airfreight teams you will work closely with you colleagues and manager to delivery an excellent service experience to all clients. Duties & Responsibilities: Ensure all export shipments are expedited in a professional and timely manner. Updating and maintaining logs / systems. Customer management - interfacing with customers on a daily basis in order to meet the required service levels. Log, investigate and resolve customer queries in a timely manner. Liaise with airlines and hauliers in a professional manner in order to meet operational requirements and to maintain up-to-date schedule information and shipment status reports. Compliance with all Customs procedures. Responsible for timely invoicing and resolving any accounts queries that may arise. Ensure all quality controls procedures are updated and adhered to. Prerequisite Requirements: Must have minimum of 2+ years relevant air freight experience within a freight forwarding company ideally within an export desk. Possess a positive customer focus. Good organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written. Good IT skills to include Microsoft Office & Imports systems. Must be flexible and have the ability to work on his/her own initiative. Terms: Full time, permanent. Package: €Neg.
