An exciting opportunity is now available to join a new entry to the Irish Freight market. Our client is a rapidly growing freight forwarding, logistics and supply chain business with offices throughout the UK, Spain, Holland, USA and Japan. Whilst they have been processing export airfreight through a Dublin based partner for fifteen years, they are now opening their own office in Dublin 15 and seek to hire an experienced Export Air Freight Team Leader to work independently before the team grows. This is a new opportunity reporting to UK head office so will include quarterly visits to UK. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Ensure all export shipments are expedited in a professional and timely manner. Updating and maintaining logs / systems. Liaise with customers on a daily basis in order to meet the required service levels. Log, investigate and resolve customer queries in a timely manner. Liaise with airlines and transport partners in a professional manner in order to meet operational requirements and to maintain up-to-date schedule information and shipment status reports. Complete customs procedures. Responsible for closing files for invoicing and resolving any accounts queries that may arise. Ensure all company procedures are adhered to. The candidate must possess the following - Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar Airfreight Export Operations role. Good commercial attributes. EXcellent attention to detail. The ability to find a solution / think outside the box. Demonstrate a ‘Can do’ attitude. Good Customer skills. Good communicator both verbal and written. Microsoft Office/Excel and typing skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Professional email etiquette. Be a Team player. Able to work without supervision. Terms: Permanent, Full-time. Package: €38k.
