Long established, South Dublin based European Road Freight Forwarder now seeks to hire an experienced European Roadfreight Business Development Manager to promote, secure, develop and maintain European services to predominantly new and also existing potential clients. Key Tasks: Primary responsibility is to actively promote and develop European Road Freight services with Air, Sea and Logistics Solutions as a secondary focus. Calculate and submit freight quotations and tenders efficiently and follow up accordingly within the defined company format. Communicate and distribute all successful quotations to the relevant departments in accordance with current procedures. Complete sales reports, manage their own Pipeline reports within Salesforce. Delivers results by leveraging the skills of the relevant people at the right time. Achieve agreed or given targets/deadlines as directed by the Sales Director. Liaise closely with, Divisional Managers and Divisional Directors at the relevant locations and establish a close working relationship. Maintain a high standard of personal presentation at all times to enhance company profile. Candidate Requirements: Min 2 years European Road Freight sales experience within the Irish market. Proficient at building relationships with key decision makers. Proven ability to communicate at all levels within the business, good persuasive and negotiation skills. Excellent processing & time management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint. Past record of driving success via using initiative, determination & persistence. Possess a full driving license. Terms: Full time permanent. Package: €Neg. + Car Allowance + Commission + Pension.
