Working with the LotusWorks team as a Plant Reliability Engineer you will be expected to provide strong technical leadership and support the development of an asset care program to maximise equipment availability. You will be driven to constantly seek better ways of delivering the service to your customers. Your Responsibilities: Designated owner of maintenance performance measurement for the business unit. Define the requirements and influence the data collection quality for process equipment. Ensure the resulting data is credible before being used for decision making. Develops appropriate asset care strategies to suite the business need. Performs periodic reviews of asset care strategy to ensure its content is current. Compile reliability data and report on equipment performance. Availability, MTBF, MTTR, Spares usage, CM’s by count & hours, PM: CM, PdM trending. Focal point for analyzing equipment operating data. Focal point for monitoring performance indicators for asset care management program. Metrics review forums. Establishes and monitors/equipment analysis, vibration and other condition monitoring techniques. Reviews deficiencies noted during corrective asset care. CM analysis. Provides technical guidance for CMMS. Promotes equipment standardization and sharing of equipment information with other asset teams. Available for consultation with asset care technicians. Monitors new technology and keeps management/staff appraised on the new developments. Professional membership, MEETA. Periodically makes cost/benefit review of asset care management programs for areas of responsibility and exchanges information across asset teams. Periodic review of spares usage. Value driven asset care. ROI for new/upgrades. Provides technical guidance for PM and PDM programs. Monitors competitor’s activities in the field of Asset care Management. Ensure all systems drawings and data are reviewed regularly and kept in an as-built state. Own and develop a Business Continuity plan and ensure it is functional in support of the business. Establish a Benchmark process for the maintenance and support of the area Process equipment and ensure the function is market competitive. Requirements: 5-7 years’ experience working in the Pharma or Biopharma industry is desired. Proven track record of successful work in process engineering in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge and understanding of cGMP. Broad experience within Biotech, Vaccine and Fill Finish would be an advantage. Working knowledge of production operations, scheduling, design, planning, process evaluation, equipment selection. Ability to upgrade or direct technical aspects of equipment design, installation, start-up, troubleshooting, and repair, or to obtain appropriate outside services to accomplish same. Third level Qualification in Science, Engineering or equivalent is preferred, though not essential. Benefits. Life Assurance. Pension Contribution.
