My client is a European financial services provider with a global reach of nearly 60 countries. With a strong presence within the European market for over 100 years, the company has grown to one of the world's largest insurance companies offering life, property and casualty, and investments. Due to an increase in business, they are seeking Reconciliations Specialists for their Investments division. This role is positioned in the Investment Control Team, which holds primary responsibility within Asset Reporting. The successful candidate will gain the ability to manage the Custodian Reconciliation activity by ensuring processes and procedures are followed. The role holder will hold the responsibility for the timely Policy Reconciliation Process for a large and diversified Custodian Base. Key responsibilities: Accountable for the monitoring of Custodians portfolios along with investigating and managing resolutions or escalations where required. Ensuring agreed guidelines are followed by the Custodian as part of the purchasing of assets; Function as the first point of contact in regard to the policy reconciliation process. Responsible for the Quarterly Solvency II process including reviewing data from different Custodians while also preparing Quantitative reports. Supporting the on-boarding process of new Custodians. Support the business on the continuous improvement of operational processes in line with current regulations. The ideal candidate: Proven experience of investigation process such as analysing discrepancies above agreed threshold; ensure investments are properly reported. Have extensive experience in analyzing and manipulating complex, high volume data feeds across multiple sources and jurisdictions. Demonstrate a strong track record of working within an Investment Reconciliation Team for a large Custodian/Asset Manager Base. Required Qualification & Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years' Investment experience with strong exposure to the Reconciliation of Custodians' holdings process; Knowledge of Solvency II. The ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines while displaying strong attention to detail. experience of analysis, manipulation and cleansing of large volumes of data. Experience in dealing with Third Parties Custodians. Experience in reviewing complex hedge funds and private equity and assess suitability under company guidelines. Extensive experience with Reconciliation of policyholders assets held with Custodians' / Discretionary Fund Managers.
