ICT Services Manager Grade VII based with a medical company to cover a maternity leave contract based in Dublin City Centre. Salary: Depending on level of experience. Qualifications. Primary degree or higher in Information Technology or a related area. Relevant post-graduate qualification. Evidence of Experience in: ICT Architectures. ICT Planning. Systems Administration. Network Administration. Experience of the Healthcare sector. Experience of ICT Management. Skills. Evidence of experience of leadership, service management and communications skills. Financial planning and budgeting. Desirable: Third level qualification or evidence of continuing professional development. Strong technical background in relevant ICT platforms and environments. Planning, organisational and leadership capability. Ability to understand business needs, with a broad awareness of operational and environmental considerations. Intellectual/thinking style – includes analysis, problem solving, capability to identify opportunities, generate new ideas, breadth of view and medium to long term thinking, strategicthinking. An awareness and knowledge of appropriate current and developing technologies and an appetite for the leveraging of technology to increase business and service opportunities. Specific Duties: Dealing with senior management. Leading and managing a team of technical specialists. Representing the ICT directorate both internally and externally. Exceptional communication skills, ability to explain in technical and non-technical terms, evidence of working with multi-disciplinary teams) Leadership skills (demonstrate delivery of goals using vision, initiative, excellence, achieving the best from different types of staff. Planning & organising (demonstrable evidence of efficient procurement, ensuring effective resource planning and allocation, developed prioritisation ability, demonstrable ability to work under pressure.
