Long established Logistics company now seek to hire a Senior Business Developer for their Storage & Distribution Division working out of their West Dublin facility. This is a new position and will report directly to the Business Development Manager. Every individual working at the company is integral to the success of their customers and their company. They work globally and innovate daily to enhance and execute supply chains that meet and exceed client expectations. They empower employees to make decisions, help their customers grow, and accelerate their careers. Role & Responsibilities: Responsible for securing new storage customers, maintaining and developing existing accounts. Meet and exceed targets (19,000 pallets ambient/chilled) set in terms of contributing and generating revenue. Conduct and report on sales leads and transform these into revenue generating business. Maintain records of customer details and contact touch points. Identify potential customers and register opportunities; relentlessly pursue additional opportunities (Value Added Services) leading to revenue for the company. Regularly visit existing accounts validating our service levels and develop new revenue streams. Assimilate market information and take part in the overall business development through weekly / monthly sales meetings and coaching. Independently qualify potential sales opportunities including the full scope of customer potential. Report on all progress and the completion of sales targets. Willingness to travel as needed. Key Experience & Skills: Minimum 3 years direct logistics solutions selling experience within the irishlogistics / pharmaceutical / nutritional / dairy markets. Customer focused, with an awareness of logistics, warehousing, value added services and customer service concepts. Meet and exceed revenue targets set per service portfolio. Willingness and demonstrated ability to sell both Inside (phone and email solicitation) & Outside (face-to-face meetings, proposals, closings. Motivated, competitive and resilient attitude with a strong work ethic. Strategic orientation, relationship building, negotiation skills, and business acumen. Must be able to work under pressure and efficiently within time constraints. Ability to collaborate and network at all levels. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work on own initiative and close deals. Terms: Full time, permanent.
