The Valuation Office is the national body responsible for Ireland’s State Valuation Service. The core business of the organisation is the
provision of accurate, up-to-date valuations of commercial and industrial properties to ratepayers and rating authorities, as required by the
Valuation Acts 2001 to 2015.

Reporting to the Commissioner of Valuation, the Head of ICT will have key responsibility for implementation and ongoing management
of the Valuation Office’s recently developed ICT Strategy for the period 2017 up to 2020. This is a superb opportunity for a suitably
qualified individual to lead ICT development and implementation in a dynamic, fastmoving environment.

The successful candidate will have:
• significant relevant senior management experience, including management experience in a complex ICT environment;
• a career history which demonstrates delivery of ICT infrastructure planning,development and policy definition;
• strong knowledge of ICT service management processes and extensive project management, planning and budgeting experience.
