The successful candidate will operate within the organisations risk division and they will be responsible for managing activities within the Data Protection Framework such as data access requests and assessment of the organisations compliance with data protection legislation. Responsibilities: Support management to ensure the organisation complies with its responsibilities under data protection legislation and the General Data Protection Regulation. Provide effective review and challenge to divisional stakeholders to ensure that all data protection risks have been identified. Assist with implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation project. Lead the development and presentation of data protection training to relevant stakeholders, including breach management, to ensure all stakeholders are effectively trained to implement the data protection framework. Assess, consider and respond to all data breaches notified to provide guidance on severity of breach and advice on appropriate actions to be taken. Requirements: 5 years' experience working in a Compliance Unit with experience in data protection. Professional qualification with a compliance/legal/audit discipline.
