Our Client a leading Logistics Company based in Dublin 9 now require an experienced Air Freight Forwarder Working as part of a busy airfreight team you will work closely with your colleagues and manager to deliver an excellent service experience to all clients. Duties & Responsibilities: Ensure all airfreight export/import activities are conducted in a professional and business- like manner with appropriate levels of personnel and maximum utilisation of resources. Co-ordinate workforce to ensure quality/quantity of performance. Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) are in place for all relevant customers. Create and issue quotations to prospects, customers, overseas offices in line with the operational SOP. Ensure all airfreight quotations are followed up and actioned accordingly. Negotiate rates. Arrange collections with the transport department or sub-contractors. Handling customer enquiries. Ensure security and health & safety regulations are monitored and upheld. Working knowledge in Customs Compliance Procedures and Certification including AEO. Minimum Requirements: Must have minimum of 1+ years relevant air freight experience within a freight forwarding company. Strong customs clearance knowledge. Possess a positive customer focus. Good organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal & written. Good IT skills to include Microsoft Office & Imports systems. Must be flexible and have the ability to work on his/her own initiative. Terms: Full-Time, permanent. Package: €Neg.(DOE.
