Financial Accountant ( Newly Qualified/PQ) | Permanent | Dublin | Generous Salary. Financial Accountant is being sought to join leading Financial Services Group. Responsibilities. Identifying client needs and new business opportunities within client organisations. Take responsibility for a large and varied portfolio of clients. Ensure that Company standards are maintained throughout. Accuracy and maintenance of the general ledger and the resultant financial statements and reports. Provide timely and accurate monthly management and statutory financial information. Support project delivery, and assist in process improvements and efficiencies. Continuously seeking to improve and develop the accounting processes to reduce reporting lead times. Assisting with the provision of high-quality management information, and contributing to the forecasting and budgeting processes. Position Requirements. Strong foundation in financial services/funds industry; Strong financial reporting experience in IFRS, US and other GAAP; A good eye for detail and able to resolve complex issues; Good knowledge of complex financial instruments; Strong project management and organisational skills; The ability to motivate and manage staff under tight deadlines; Portfolio management experience; Experience working as part of a team supporting others; Experience gained in a big 4 accounting firm would be advantageous; Candidates who have experience within audit in Industry and would like to return to practice will be considered for this position; Recognized accounting qualification.
