Description

Training & Communications Specialist. In this role you will join the HR team and report to the Learning and Development & Communication Manager. You will be the first point of contact for all training related queries and internal communications requests for the Company. You will support the planning and tracking of all training activities and the preparation of internal communications. Firstly you will need to have a Degree or recognised qualification in communications or learning and development and have two year's experience in a similar role. In this fast paced training and operations environment, you will support the Learning, Development & Communications Manager in creating & implementing Training & Communications plans. You will support the planning & roll-out of new learning initiatives across the business and support the planning & implementation of HR initiatives. This position will give you a fantastic opportunity to shape the people development agenda for the business. You will be responsible for managing Internal Communications and L&D tools, including company Intranet, Social Network & eLearning portal. You will ensure the Communications & Training activities are planned in a consistent manner taking into account cross-functional activities & requirements to ensure a collaborative approach to workload planning. One of your key strengths is being practical & pragmatic, with a sound operational business knowledge. You will deliver a world class reporting database of all training & communications activities, including the maintenance of L&D KPI's. Preparation of weekly, monthly & ad-hoc communications in response to business objectives is another element of your role. Co-ordinate training activities for the Company and lead on planning & monitoring of Mandatory & Legislative training needs. You will Ensure their Communications & Training activities are planned in a consistent manner taking into account cross-functional activities & requirements to ensure a collaborative approach to workload planning. Other key requirements for this position along with relevant 3rd level qualification are. Experience in delivering training. 2 year's experience in a similar role. Ability to deal with people and a willingness to learn and grow in the role. IT literate with proficiency in MS Office. Exposure to eLearning and Intranet authoring tools. The ability to plan, prioritise and organise effectively. Full time 39 hour contract. Working week Monday - Friday.
