Global Services Buyer. In this key role you will be a key part of a Global Procurement Services team supporting manufacturing & sales teams globally to buy materials & services. This position shall ensure supplier transactions guidelines, maintain the highest standards of ethics & integrity internally & externally with suppliers. You will be a key contact for stakeholders requesting goods & services. Accountable for supporting procurement needs of requesters; ensuring compliance to processes & standards and the key contact for suppliers providing these goods & services. Key Responsibilities. * Raising & tracking POs in line with purchasing policies. * Acts as a liaison between vendors & user dept.'s. * Ensuring timely, accurate payments of supplier invoices & supplier reconciliations. * Identifying invoices relating to specific assignments & cost centres. * Liaise with suppliers & internal dept.'s. * Identification & resolution of any issues that arise. * Corresponding with suppliers to manage accounts & queries as they arise. * Processing, analysing & reconciling multi-line invoices. * Basic foreign currency calculations. * Supplier & vendor data mgt. in line with the controls & procedures. * Identify & implement process improvements where possible. * Perform Procurement KPIs reports & analysis. * Support programs such as Diversity Responsible Procurement, Audit Readiness, etc.sist in resolving invoice discrepancies. * Receive, review & process requisitions requesting goods & services whilst verifying compliance with corporate policy. * Expediting orders & requests including non-inventoried items (basic supplies, office supplies, Internal Support. * Monitor performance & capabilities of vendors to ensure maintenance of delivery, quality, & price commitments. Competencies/ Functional Skills. * Bachelor's Degree in accounting, business, finance, economics etc. * Exp. with RFPs, evaluating proposals, & performing related cost analysis. * Strong communications (oral & written) & strong Analytical skills. * Team work & team building; * Initiative to engage requesters; * Ability to multi-task; * Accountability & positive attitude; * Managing in a complex & fluid environment; * High work & business ethics. * Negotiation & influencing capabilities. Technical Skills. * Knowledge & experience with purchasing processes & documents. * Knowledge of contracts, terms & conditions, & related documents. * Good organisational skills & ability to meet tight deadlines. * Knowledge & experience with purchasing & requisitioning systems. * Fluency in ERP systems & Microsoft Office. * Previous experience in manufacturing environment desirable.
