The ideal candidate will manage the activities of the payroll function and provide end-to-end process optimization and consistency, world-class service strategy for pay processing, accounting and statutory compliance. Principal Duties and Responsibilities. Ensure payroll controls are operating effectively and that the payroll conforms to all legal and regulatory requirements including compliance with corporate policies, local statutory requirements and Sarbanes Oxley. Ensure monthly salaries, withholding taxes, pensions etc. are processed and paid accurately & timely. Review payroll & accounting entries - month-end and quarter-end. Review Blacklne Reconciliations at quarter-end. Review yearly stock related withholding and reporting compliance report. Review quarterly flux analysis. Streamline & improve towards one payroll & accounting processes where appropriate. Source, change and review third party outsourced providers, if necessary. Work with "third party" actuarial on pension valuation. Develop key performance metrics for critical payroll processes. Monitor and track KPIs. Work with HR/IT to redesign and optimize HR-Payroll data in an integrated end-to-end process. TEAM MANAGEMENT: Drive change, raise performance levels. Quarterly performance with individual employee. Plan and coach payroll team when any payroll opportunities/challenges arise. Develop talent management plan. Morgan McKinley is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
