The mission of the Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government is to support the sustainable and efficient delivery of well planned homes and effective Local Government. The Department currently has a vacancy for a Adviser - Building Standards (Architectural /Engineering Inspector. Reporting to the Senior Advisor, s/he will be responsible for providing professional and technical advice in relation to a range of building/construction issues. The successful candidate will hold a professional qualification in Architecture, Engineering or Quantity/Building Surveying with at least 5 years professional experience in a responsible position. S/he will have strong leadership qualities and be experienced in leading multi disciplinary teams.
