An opportunity exists within Dublin City Council as City Planning Officer. This is a pivotal position in the City Council and the holder of the post will play a vital role in the orderly development of the City. Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Dublin City Planning Officer will form part of the Senior Management team and will lead and manage a team of professionals. The successful candidate will: • hold an honours degree (Level 8 or higher on the National Framework of Qualifications) in Planning; • have, post the qualification above, at least ten years satisfactory relevant and strategic level experience in planning; • possess a high standard of technical training and experience; • possess a high standard of administrative and strategic management experience.
