Planning Executive (pharma) - Dublin. Overall Objective of role: To create and maintain an achievable manufacturing plan for the assigned work centres. Communication of the plan plus any changes to the Business Units. To review the medium timescale for work centres for which you are responsible with a view to balancing loadings and flagging significant issues to the Master Scheduler/Planning Manager. Interested applicants must have: - a good understanding of modern supply chain models. - a good knowledge of ERP Systems, SAP experience essential. - good interpersonal skills as well as excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - effective analytical and problem solving abilities. - strong organisational, planning and time management skills. - proficiency in the use of spreadsheet, word processing and database software, internet and e-mail. - team playing skills, able to consider the impact of decisions on other business areas. - continuous improvement mindset. Key Tasks:- Creation of a stable, viable production plan for the Business Units. This will be at daily level covering an 8 week production horizon and include any agreed downtime or maintenance activities. Communicate and agree the plan with the Business Units, Vendor Schedulers, Quality and Distribution as necessary. Responsible for relevant Work centres in weekly planning meeting and for communicating any change to agreed schedule. Release, process orders and pick lists in accordance with the relevant standard operating procedures. Ensure process orders and pick lists are released and issued in accordance with the relevant SOP. Attend and participate at daily Business Unit Operations meetings and weekly Business Unit Planning Meetings. Review the medium timescale capacity loading for work centres for which you are responsible. Draft outline plans to balance the loading and highlight issues and propose solutions to the Master Scheduler/Planning Manager. Responsible for Customer Order promising and highlighting/ actioning any potential risk to on time supply in full. Assignment of ‘valid from’ dates for changes to components on BOMs and ongoing communication to manage the ECO’s for relevant product portfolio. Assist in the identification and development of opportunities to contribute to company goals and objectives, particularly in the areas of customer service, asset management and utilisation. Identification of ways to enhance the Planning Process contribution to the development of cutting edge planning practices, and continuous improvement of same. Undertake any assignments and training on systems or processes as directed by the Master Production Scheduler or the Planning Manager. Interested applicants should have: A third level qualification with appropriate qualification in Supply Chain Planning. Experience with SAP ERP system for production planning detailed scheduling (PPDS) and in Advance Planning and Optimisation (APO) is essential.
